The 2nd generation of ATOTO S8 Android car stereos showcases advanced technology. It features a 12nm Soc for higher efficiency and lower power consumption, an ARM Cortex Octa-Core processor for top-notch performance, and the latest ATOTO AICE UI 11.0 based on Android Q for deep customization. The new S8 offers three internet access methods – Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, and USB Tethering, unlike traditional Android car stereos that only provide Wi-Fi.
The S8 boasts Speed Compensated Volume Control (SCVC), adjusting audio levels to match vehicle speed and reduce noise interference. Easily personalize your experience by placing favorite photos in a designated gallery folder for automatic display on the S8’s HD screen with a simple tap. For safer driving, the S8 supports 6 touch gestures, use intuitive 2 or 3-finger touch gestures to access multitasking menus, switch 9 EQ modes, and adjust brightness quickly.
The S8 features dual Bluetooth chips, enabling simultaneous connections with your phone and other Bluetooth devices. One chip supports Bluetooth tethering and BLE connections, while the other, with Qualcomm aptX HD codec, delivers 24-bit music quality for detailed audio (requires phone compatibility with BT aptX HD codec). Its built-in phone integration link offers both wired and wireless options for Android Auto and CarPlay, ensuring versatile connectivity.
Compatible with ATOTO AC-HD03LR cameras (sold separately), this model offers an HD Virtual Surround-View (VSV) and Live Rear-View (LRV), enabling rearview access even while moving forward. This feature eliminates visual obstructions from headrests and rear pillars, broadening your field of view. Additionally, it boasts a 10.1-inch 1280×720 QLED display, using quantum film LED-backlit LCD technology to significantly enhance color with an Enhanced R.G.B display.
The S8G2114PM features the IAH10D style (Integrated and Adaptive Head-unit with a 10.1-inch Display), compatible with YO-FUNG’s vehicle-specific Installation Dash Kits, including wiring harnesses and mounting kits. It’s suitable for over 200 vehicle models, ensuring a sleek, OEM-style installation. Note: In some vehicles, the 10.1-inch display may obstruct air vents, emergency switches, or nearby buttons, which could be inconvenient. ATOTO offers ongoing system firmware updates for this model.
